How to prepare the skin for winter?

The winter season is a challenge for our skin. Low temperatures, dry indoor air and strong winds can quickly dry out and irritate our skin. In order for our skin to remain healthy, flexible and radiant even during the winter months, it is important to take special care of it. Here are some tips to prepare your skin for winter and avoid common problems associated with cold weather.


1. Hydration is key


Winter is a time when our skin loses more moisture than usual, so it is important to focus on thorough hydration. Look for moisturizers that contain hyaluronic acid or ceramides. These ingredients help retain moisture in the skin and create a protective barrier against external influences. It is ideal to use thicker creams than in the summer, because the light ones may not provide sufficient protection against bad weather.
